Our History

Micheline and Élie Lherbeil were the first in the family to buy the hotel in 1967.

At that time, there were about sixty rooms (there are now 40, imagine the size of each one!). The customers were mostly French employees who stayed for a month, the kitchen was used by everyone... Just like at home!

Among the tenants of the hotel: let's not forget the cats! Our grandfather was known in the neighborhood to be a cat lover. Whenever one of them was found on the street, they were obviously brought at the hotel! Up to 20 cats lived in the yard at that time...

Until Catherine took over in 1992.

Catherine took over the management of the hotel in 1992… And began by starting from scratch.

Only the load-bearing walls were kept, the rest was redesigned to improve the comfort and aesthetics of the hotel, which remained closed for 9 months to carry out all the work. Upon reopening, the hotel, initially 2 stars, became 3 stars.

The hotel evolves, the world too: how far are the days when the phone rang constantly to ask for a reservation! Catherine's era also marked the beginnings of the Internet, with all the transformations that entails: creating a website, using third-party platforms to handle reservations, managing online reviews... - What a journey since Micheline and Elie's period!

In the Pelletier Family, after the grandmother and the mother... Let's ask for the eldest daughter! Unlike Charles III, who had to wait until he was 73 to finally embrace his role as king, Charline only had to wait until she was 37 to become the hotel manager.

Alongside Catherine since she was 28, Charline strives to enhance the customer experience, by meeting all of your needs and desires.

The years pass, but the ambition of these strong women remains the same: to welcome you in a warm, personal and discreet atmosphere, and to make the Hotel Muguet your Parisian home.
